What the process actually looks like
Load survey and sizing
We check your sanctioned load against the array you want. Exceeding sanctioned load is the most common rejection, so this is where it gets fixed.
Documents assembled
CNIC, latest paid bill, property proof, equipment datasheets, single line diagram and the signed application form.
Submission and fee
Filed at your DISCO with the processing fee. You get the tracking number the same day it is lodged.
Inspection
A DISCO team verifies the installation and safety protections. We attend and correct anything on the spot.
Licence and agreement
NEPRA generation licence is issued, then the net metering agreement is signed with the DISCO.
Meter installed
The bi-directional meter replaces your existing one, and export credit starts appearing on your next bill.
What you need ready
- Identity document of the meter holder
- Latest paid electricity bill
- Proof of ownership or a tenancy agreement with a no objection certificate
- Sanctioned load equal to or above your inverter rating
- Roof space, roughly 60 square feet per kilowatt
Honest expectations
Export is credited in units, not rupees, at the buyback rate in force when your agreement is signed. We quote savings at the conservative end because that rate has been revised more than once.
A system sized far above your own consumption is a poor investment under current rules. We will tell you to build smaller if that is the right answer.
